Where to do an HIV test in Poland?
There are places in Poland (Consultation and Diagnostic Centers) where you can have an HIV test anonymously and free of charge. You can find their addresses below . The diagnosis of HIV infection is possible only when the confirmation test result (eg Western blot) is positive. If you have only performed a screening test (eg ELISA), a positive (non-negative) result does not necessarily mean that you are infected / infected with HIV - a confirmation test is necessary to diagnose an infection.

Syphilis
Syphilis
Syphilis is mainly transmitted sexually. The first symptoms in the form of a painless ulcer may appear after about 3-4 weeks after sexual contact. -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ The pale spirochete infection can occur through: damaged skin, damaged mucous membranes, directly through the bloodstream .
The probability of infection of sexual partners with early syphilis is high and amounts to approximately 60%. That's why it's so important to do your research.
When to test for syphilis
If you have had sexual contact without securing a condom or a latex handkerchief,
if in 3-4 weeks after sexual contact on organs
genital and oral mucosa appeared painless ulceration, when there is a macular, maculo-papular rash on the body, face, limbs, the rash is not accompanied by itching,
if you have maculo-papular or maculopapular rash
exfoliating on the soles and handswhen your partner test positive for syphilis.
You can do the syphilis screening test free of charge at some PKDs, eg the Foundation for Social Education in Warsaw.
HCV
Hepatitis C
HCV infection most often occurs through contact with blood. However, sexually it is also possible. During anal intercourse, the risk of infection is ok. 4-25%. HCV can also be infected during a visit to a hairdresser, beautician, dentist, while performing tattoos in an unproven place or when taking psychoactive substances, especially by intravenous route, or dos. About 80% of HCV is asymptomatic, which is why it is so important to test for HCV. Do the HCV screening test 12 weeks after risky exposure.
Modern drug therapies have a chance of curing 98% -99% of patients.
When to do the HCV test?
When I engage in unprotected sex with a condom,
if I take psychoactive substances by intravenous or nasal route and use common equipment (tubes, coils, syringes) with other people,
if you use hairdressing, cosmetic, dental services, etc., where you are not sure that the equipment was properly sterilized and disinfected,
when came into contact with blood - professionally or accidentally, e.g. during a fight, in contact sports or an accident
You can do a free, anonymous HCV screening test at some PKD e.g. Foundation for Social Education in Warsaw.
